Types of Events

We have been providing mobile disco services for high quality weddings right from the outset. All wedding mobile disco’s are treated individually and we aim to make every part of your special evening perfect.

We will discuss all your requirements in person, over the phone or via email which ever you prefer. We will ensure we have your first dance (If you are having one) with us on the night provided you inform us in advance. If there is not a special song you want we can suggest an appropriate song for you if you wish. We regularly have emails backwards and forwards between ourselves and couples dealing with everything from the music they want to the timings etc.

We can cater for any type of wedding and have previously done a variety weddings for Young couples, Middle Aged Couples and elderly couples in their 70’s. We have also done celebrations for civil partnerships and same sex weddings. We will cater the music to your taste.

We don’t have a set list of songs we will always play, there are certain songs we know through experience are dancefloor fillers but will only play them if we feel are suitable to your guests.

Couples often email us requests prior to their big day with their own personal favorites and these lists can vary between a simple we like 80’s and 90’s music up to a multi page list of artist and song titles, some also include what they don’t want.

We aim to play as many of your favorites and requests as possible. we always carry a very large collection of music so can always accept requests on the night either from yourselves or your guests.
If you are having a band or any other live entertainment we can liaise with them before and during your wedding to ensure everything goes smoothly and some smaller groups or solo artists will often agree you use our sound system and lights to make everything look more professional and have less equipment taking up room.

Prices start from as little as £250 for a small 4 hour mobile disco in our local area. Obviously with fuel costs the further we have to travel the more the price increases. Generally we will travel back after a wedding so there are not additional costs for us staying overnight in an hotel. All our prices include setting up time etc so the times you tell us is the times you want us to play between.

We can cater for just about any size of venue and number of guests. We have in the past done weddings for just 25 guests up to venues holding in the region of 1000 wedding guests.

Omega Sound Disco’s have been providing music and games for childrens parties since they started in 1989 and have entertained thousands of children over the years.

We recommend 2 hours as an ideal length of time for a childrens party. Any less makes it very rushed and any more the kids start getting tired. Owner Adrian does the vast majority of the childrens parties himself and has 2 young children and so knows what they like. We do party games, give out sweets and prizes (Provided by us) and play the latest music to keep the kids entertained.

Depending upon location prices start from just £95 and the vast majority of childrens parties we do are for £95. The price only increases if there is an increased travelling distance or the times you are wanting the party are going into the evening on a weekend, which would then require us to turn down an evening function as a result.

We provide the Sweets (Average 400 per party)

We provide the prizes for the games (If you wish to do a pass the parcel yourself also then please feel free)

We entertain the kids for the full 2 hours and co-ordinate the time for food, blowing out of candles etc.

We also do a monthly childrens party at Drax sports and Social club for the Drax Family Night if you want to see us in action. You may be interested in having your childs party at the family night for just £2 per head.

Omega Sound Disco’s founder and Owner Adrian Lowes started DJing in the 80’s on classic 7″ and 12″ singles.

As a result he has a vast knowledge of classic and not so well known 80’s tunes. Adrian likes nothing more than a fantastic 80’s night and has done loads of these over the years. With this vast knowledge of the music and experience with running an 80’s night, Omega Sound Disco’s are ideal for an 80’s night to remember.

In addition we now offer VDJing. Which is Video Disc Jockeys. So we play the actual music videos. We have a large selectionof 80’s music videos so not only can you relive the sounds of the 80’s you can bring back those MTV memories and TOTP memories by watching the videos.
